About
Nick Mosakowski RD, LDN
In June 2018, I earned my national credential as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, marking the culmination of my extensive education and training. My journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, followed by an intensive internship comprising over 1,200 hours of hands-on experience in clinical, community, and food service settings. This rigorous preparation enabled me to pass the Registered Dietitian exam and formally enter the profession.
Since becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I have worked in a variety of settings, including early childcare development, medical intensive care unit (ICU), cardiac ICU, surgical ICU, dialysis clinic, outpatient clinic, and food service operations, among others. For the past six years, I have operated my own practice, working with clients in both one-to-one and group settings.
Before pursuing a career in dietetics, I served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps from 2007 to 2012, completing three deployments during that time. After leaving the service, I decided to attend college, ultimately choosing to become a Registered Dietitian—a profession that aligns closely with my values. This career allows me to serve others with their best interests in mind and to collaborate with other health and medical professionals who share a similar commitment to holistic care.
I value authenticity and view myself as a continuous project and experiment in my personal time. I enjoy challenging training events and experimenting with new nutrition protocols that align with my current life situation and fitness goals. These pursuits not only enhance my personal development but also enrich my professional practice through a blend of personal experience, knowledge, and education. Outside of my professional endeavors, I cherish spending time with my wife and our dog.
